*NEED MORE BLAZERS*

Today, I realized that I am in need of more blazers!!

They are one of my favorite things to wear besides my H&M sailor shorts and my high waisted skirts.

I found my love of blazers today while at school when I saw two people wearing one- one of them was black but had texture and sequins and the other was a coral pinkish color to it. I was jealous! I wanted to wear one!

 One of the things I love about them is that they can easily complete a simple outfit! They give your somewhat boring outfit, better and gives it that extra UFFPH!

Back to School Shopping!

Last Saturday, my mother gave me the opportunity to go back to school shopping and get some necessities for the school year.

I first went into the new Forever 21 in our outside mall:

There is a new shoe trend on the horizon!

During Spring 2010, Christian Siriano introduced to the world a shoe that looked similar to a claw:

 Remember now?

Well, designer Camilla Skovgaard also released this season a shoe that reminded me of... a CLAW? Not only did she make one but Jeffrey Campbell is known to have made a claw-like heel as well!

See the resemblance? I do.

The only difference between Christian's and Camilla's and Jeffrey's is simply- Christian's has a rounded and outward heel. While Camilla's and Jeffrey's have a new aspect, a razored like bottom.

Summer is Coming To a Close...

Vacationing in North Carolina was a trip most needed. It was so cool and refreshing but I'm glad to be back in Florida. I will post pictures up soon.

Oh Those Summer Nights!

 Nothing is nicer then spending a day at the beach with close friends and ending the day with Breyer's ice cream! I love summer because all the stress of school is gone for a good three months. Unfortunately, in less than a month, school will be back in session and summer will be gone once again. *sad face*

In recent news, I found out that our mall is getting a TWO-STORY (yes I am serious) Forever 21 store!! I'm super excited because Forever 21 is cheap and has amazing clothes. I hope for it to open before Fall/Winter.

The latest on my agenda is to sew a high-waisted skirt or try and create a beautiful dress for winter. I also need to take a trip to Orlando to go back to school shopping (my favorite thing to do before school!!). Since Ponte Vedra isn't cool enough, we don't have H&M,Zara, or thrift stores. Sad right? 

I need a few things before I go to school:

-Black and White Striped blazer

 (I happen to love this one)

-Pair of trousers(perferably these Pants )

-Boyfriend Jeans

-Oxford Shoes

-A Few V-Necks

-Over the Knee Socks

-Boots

This seems like a lot but, I need my clothing :D

Long Time, No Post

Sorry I've been so behind on posting! Summer has been keeping me busy and with the recent events, I've been on my blog for a while.

Yesterday I joined my best friend, Sara,at the mall after not seeing her in ages (really only 10 days)!

We went to get me new earrings from Spencer's because I lost mine at the beach (sad face).

Next we went into Charlotte Russe and I got a shirt, hopefully to wear on the first day of school (it's starts in a month and a day!)I will post a picture in a later post.

I also purchased a necklace from Pacsun. I don't usually purchase jewelry from there but this was cute and I had to have it! Also, I never wear accessories, mainly because I never find anything I really like that isn't cheap looking or super expensive.

I haven't been able to shop much, I also just can't find what I really want. I really have my eyes on this blazer from Asos.com. It's what I have wanted for the longest time!

Unfortunately, it's sold out so I'll be on the look out for it somewhere else or find something similar.

All That Glitters is Not Gucci

 

Good morning everyone! It seems like the week has gone by so fast because it's already WEDNESDAY!! I'm not sure why but whenever we have a major holiday (in this case, Fourth of July) and we have a day off, I always get thrown off on the days!! That was totally off topic but I'm just saying. ANYWAYS...

 

First, I want to tell you about a clothing item I really have loved for the past 5 months or so, it's from Anthropologie, and yesterday I nearly had a heart attack because it went on sale!! Well apparently everyone else had one too because it was all sold out! *tear* Alas my love, we were never meant to be together! *dies* Anyways, I'll find one eventually and it shall be mine muahaha!

The last think I wanted to show you guys is my daily *weekly* love. It's really plain and simple but it really caught my eye because well, simplicity is always in and I like simple things. But the fact of the matter is, it's not super boring. We have the eye-catcher (is that what it would be?) The bow draws all the attention.

Happy Fourth!

Yesterday was the day that our country celebrates being a nation. I'm so grateful to live in the "land of opportunities" and live the life that I do. 
To celebrate, my family and I went to my grandparent's home and had both lunch and dinner with my grandfather's son's family and my cousins. It was delicious and to top it all off, we got to watch the fireworks. It was breathtaking!

Today, I spent the day at the Town Center with my mom. I was able to snag some items at Urban Outfitters while they were still having the big sale!

I chose these items because they were very versatile and are major staples in my closet!
I say that this was a very productive day! For the win!!

Staple Pieces

It seems that by now I would have learned my lesson, but I haven't. Every time I get some cash and I'm thinking that I will spend it on basics (Which I need badly!), I never get it because I find something better. I mean come on what do you want on first instinct? This? or this??

Obviously, your going to choose the dress! After I purchase the other better item, I tell myself, "Sarah, next time, you WILL get that grey blazer not the floral skirt!" UGH! Me and my obsession with pretty things! The main problem is the fact that I am jobless. So I rarely have the cash to get anything nice AND get something I need as a staple piece...
Soon I'll go on a shopping spree and buy all the staple items that I need! This time for sure! I promise! Translation: probably won't happen.Well, I have to go get some brownie mix and pig out on brownies!

Busy busy busy

Lately I've been really busy and therefore I can't blog as much! Since I won't be able to blog often because I will be a counselor at a camp, I'm going to try and blog once a week. The only difference is that they will be longer! I'll try and incorporate lots of things as well. Hope you guys had a great weekend and stay stylish!

Chanel Fall 2010

This Fall, Chanel had some very interesting pieces during fashion week. Here are my favorites!
I saw that Chanel focused on sort of a body fur costume; it looks so warm and cozy! The runway was also amazing as well. It looked like the models were walking on ice or water in the Arctic. I liked the dresses the most and the cream sweaters the most but wasn't a big fan of the fur body costumes.

What were your favorites? What did you guys love about the collection and not love about it? What are your thoughts.

Aldo's New Fall Collection

I am a huge fan of Aldo and I have always been. Last season was all around dressing the part (i.e Glam Goddess, Teenage Hellcat).Now they have decided for this season, Fall 2010, to enter the fantasy realms, which will include “military academy” and “galactic minimalism”.

They are fitting in with the current runway trends and are still very unique and edgy.

Moving from Tumblr to Blogger!

I have finally decided to move my blog from Tumblr to Blogger. Why? I'm not sure, I just needed a different blog site and I didn't think Tumblr was cutting it. So here I am! Erm... I'm wondering if I should just start fresh and new or totally redo my past blogs and continue as usual...oh well, whatever I do, I hope you guys are happy! (:
